Subject: IN
MEMORY OF DANIELLE VAN DAM
Date: Sun, 15 Feb 2004 20:48:34 -0600
Mr. O'Reilly,
I do not know if Danielle Van Dam's parents have ever looked
into filing a federal action against Messrs. Feldman and Boyce
for conspiracy to deny her (posthumously) of her right to receive
justice in the matter of David Westerfield.
If this defense tactic, where the attorneys conspired in an attempt
to deny this child (as well as the grieving parents) her
right to receive justice for the crime of kidnapping (federal
offense) which culminated in the brutal rape and vicious
murder of this child, is not a crime, I pray that one day it
will be!
It is my solemn promise, after being sworn into office
in January 2005, as the next U.S. Representative of
the 18th Congressional District of Texas (Houston), that I will
sponsor a bill to make it a federal offense for any defense attorney
to conspire or participate in such tactics. This will take the
burden of enforcement out of the jurisdiction of the State
Bar Associations.
