Campaign Contribution Guidelines
Campaign contributions are limited to
$2,000.00 per individual.
All contributions to Bazan For Congress, 2004, campaign in excess
of $200.00 must be listed with the Federal Election Committee.
For each contribution that exceeds $200, either by itself or
when added to the donor's previous contributions made during
the same calendar year, records must identify each contribution
by: Amount; Date of receipt; and Donor's full name and address,
occupation and employer.
Federal Election Law Compliance also mandates the following restrictions:
- You must be at least 18 years of
age.
- You are not a federal contractor.
- Corporate campaign contributions
are NOT allowed.
- You must be a United States citizen
or a permanent resident alien.
- Contributions are not tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
- You must use your own personal funds, and not be reimbursed with funds provided by
any another person or from any corporation, labor union or national
bank to make this campaign contribution.
- Contributions to Bazán for
Congress, 2004, are for use in
connection with the election of Tom Bazán to Congress
from the 18th Congressional District of Texas are subject
to the prohibitions and limitations of the Federal Election Campaign
Act.
