Housing Choice Voucher Subsidy Standards

[read the above e-mail from Jennifer Burns at HUD]

Another example of the local Waste, Fraud and abuse of HUD money at the local level. A few months back, it was pointed out that 82% of the vouchers go to black families, and that the Latino families get almost no help. Some of the money the City Housing Authority wasted could have gone towards housing Latinos who have been patiently waiting for help. Tom Bazan

This is how Sheila Jackson-Lee voted last week.

She voted FOR Free Trade with Fidel Castro (HR 5025), with whom she reportedly embraced in Havana, Cuba on February 20, 1999.

She voted AGAINST the measure (HR 2028) stripping the rogue federal activist judges' jurisdiction thereby preventing them from trying to remove "under God" from our Pledge of Allegiance.
